Alex Mendelson

Alex joined the lab in Fall 2023 after finishing his Bachelor's at Cal State Long Beach working on marine invertebrates. He's spent his first year learning to isolate and grow rotifers from pitcher plants and is now working on evolutionary experiments to see how rotifers evolve in response to temperature.
